Donaldson Group Architects PA is a Florida-based firm known for its pragmatic approach to custom designs to address client needs and budgets. Founded in 1989 as Donaldson Group Architects, the firm was incorporated as Donaldson Group Architects PA in 2001. Today, our architectural work can be found in Florida, Kentucky, New Jersey, North Carolina, Texas, St. Johns USVI and Sao Paolo, Brazil. We’ve earned ourselves a reputation for creative work in numerous hospitality projects, including ground-up, renovations and expansions. All projects are lead by the founder of the company, Barry Donaldson, with staff assembled to meet the unique needs of each undertaking.

Our Architects and Consultants

Our teams are assembled of local and remote talent based on the needs of the client and demands of the project. Barry Donaldson is an NCARB certified architect with reciprocity in other States. Our teams work directly with our clients to procure individualized architectural solutions, as well as appropriate expressions for branded commercial work.

We take continuing education seriously, monitoring and maintaining our Continuing Education Units as required by our licensing jurisdictions. Our participation in continuing education keeps us informed on the cutting-edge products and innovations that add value to our projects and advance quality assurance.

Our Architectural Workplace

At our firm, we go to great lengths to deliver a superior product. To that end, we’ve invested in state-of-the-art software, including AutoCAD, REVIT, Snaptrude, Bluebeam and SpecLink. Our hardware computers are high-end BOXX computers, custom configured for high-end demands for production of 2D and 3D documents. We recently added Vibe Whiteboard to our array of equipment, which will greatly enhance our remote conferencing capabilities with interactive participation by all participants, on-the-fly mark-ups, and electronic transmittal of work session documents.
