Understanding the Role of Construction Administrators
Essentially, the role of a construction administrator is to oversee your construction’s progress and conformance with design intent. Our tasks may include:
- Conducting on-site meetings periodically with the contractor as the work progresses.
- Resolving issues that arise by issuing clarification of design intent.
- Dealing with concealed conditions not known during design.
- Evaluating schedule and progress payments.
- Revising drawings when necessary
- Evaluating Change Order requests when necessary.
